Happy Friday!
My week has gone something like this:
Waking up at 3:45am *every day* to proof galleries, drinking coffee, designing albums, drinking coffee, packing orders & going multiple times to UPS, having holiday photo sessions, meeting squishibly adorable newborns, oh, and did I mention drinking coffee?
Thus, I am very behind on blogging. I have lots to share and will update this weekend! In the mean time, here is a new and wonderful song by Renee & Jeremy (If you’re a client, you may recognize their beautiful music from your slideshow). Let the Happy in! It’s almost Halloween!
Energy
Don’t even get me started with this one. Is he not the cutest little thing you’ve ever seen? Those big beautiful eyes…the way he’s looking into the camera…those teeny bottom teeth and daddy’s love for him [captured] just make me so happy.

Can I, please?
…take her home? Just for one day – she is just so, so, so adorably, squishably cute!

Pretty times two
A pretty, pretty little baby girl! Her eyes and lashes are just beautiful.

That special something
Here it is, that special something.
Those big brown eyes were so telling of his little personality: contemplative & oh so sweet

There’s nothing I like more
…than blue eyes and knit sweaters! In this case, I had 3 sets of blue eyes! Please tell me, how gorgeous are these children? They are just so very, very handsome! Here’s baby brother – with the loveliest complexion and pink pout, my camera really just adored him (and so did I).

Just stop it
The morning sun, the light, the energy, the beautiful family…just stop it! Stop being so adorable!!! Really though – this family was a joy to photograph. The love they have for each other and their natural, honest, in-the-moment affection was contagious. And how lovely was the light that morning? One thing I love about photographing babies is that because they usually wake up early, it means we can have early photo sessions and benefit from the wonderful morning sunlight!!!

That glow
Happiness is
…being swaddled. At only one week & missing being so close to mommy, I can understand why

Get ready
…this little girl will melt your heart. So charming, so delicate, so pretty
Ribbon or lollipop? Lolliops are sweet & yummy, but chewing on ribbon wins when you’re teething!
