L-O-V-E. This sweet, sweet family is just so full of love. Especially mom and dad – they just adore each other….even when they simply look at each other, it’s totally clear how smitten they are! How cute is this family?

Not only did their sweet baby girl just turn 3 months this week, but mommy and daddy are celebrating 10 years! Wow! We shot at a cute little park, and fate was totally with us because there just happened to be an adorable heart carved in the tree trunk right where we were sitting. Just perfect to help illustrate how much in love they still are 10 years later :) And now they have a beautiful little girl to share their love with…

…is not your typical kind of gnome. He totally challenged the idea that all gnomes are hairy, funny looking little men. I now know that gnomes can be absolutely adorable and cuddly, have little hair, and engage in super exciting activities – such as pumping their fists and drooling :) Teehee. I think the first image is so cute…what a beautiful little gnome, indeed! Aaaand, he’s got the sweetest, funniest, easy going & loving parents. It was a joy hanging out with this amazing family — I must say it again — my job is the BEST (well, second to being a parent) in the world!

…sand can be quite effective in keeping babies happy. A handful of sand in the mouth every few minutes can lead to lots of smiles and giggles :) True, it may not be very flavorful, but the gritty texture must be very interesting! This sweet baby girl showed me that – yes, sand is messy–but is so much fun to nibble on! In between sand munching, we captured some sweet moments of her + her family, in honor of her first birthday!

After his short session weeks ago, I was so happy to see him again in such an upbeat mood! At every single photo session, he always blows me away with his huge smiles–which is now full of teeth :) I can’t believe how fast he’s grown…when I first met him, he was less than two weeks old! It’s been simply wonderful capturing his baby milestones :) And how could I not be sooo lucky? I get to play all day with cuties like him:

…brown eyes! Both kids have these big, beautiful, soulful eyes. I especially loved baby girl’s adorable haircut – don’t those bangs frame her amazing brown eyes so perfectly? And would you look at her awesome leggings? I’ve never seen anything like ‘em – they’re so cute! If I ever have a little girl, you’ll probably find a dozen sets of these in her closet :) A beautiful family!

Oh my goodness! His huge smile, big brown eyes…and oh my – those sweet dimples! Little itty bitty man is just so adorable…with his little man hat, little man pants & little man plaid shirt – he had me smitten! Especially….especially his laugh – I can’t accurately describe it in words, but it was just a good ol’ hearty laugh, from the belly! So awesome!

GORGEOUS! Would you please look at these gorgeous children? They are seriously beautiful – mommy and daddy should have more babies asap! The world will continue to become more and more beautiful! I loved how big sister was so sweet and shy – just adorably innocent. And little brother was quite literally one of the happiest babies I’ve ever seen…his smiley giggle was indescribable – so jolly :) Awwww…they are so cute together.

…i’ve been feeling so very blessed. I’m always feeling extra thankful this time of year, but what makes me appreciate all that I have even more, is witnessing how the wonderful families have grown and changed throughout the year. This sweet guy below is a perfect example. I’ve been photographing him since he was only days young. To see him now at just under 2 years old really amazes me - our babies grow up so (and too) fast. Although it is bittersweet to see him grow up so quickly, it’s also so lovely to know that I’ve been able to capture all of his sweet babyness – so that in a way, his mommy and daddy have it safe and sound forever. The greatest compliment is hearing from families that they feel like I am also part of their family…and for this family especially, I feel the exact same way :)

The last time I saw this sweetie when he was just a newborn, he wasn’t very excited about the idea of being photographed :P But this time around, he gave us an hour full of smiles, giggles, and total fascination with the camera! I was definitely super happy that we had such a wonderful morning together! I had to stop myself from blogging the entire session because there were just so many that made me smile :) First, he’s got such amazing eyes – have you ever seen eyes this color? They are really beautiful and absolutely captivating. Second, would you look at mommy and daddy? Hello good looking couple…and third, the location rocked! I’m not all that familiar with San Diego, but I now know that an awesome spot is Balboa Park. Beautiful greenery, lots of open shade, and spectacular architecture that’s full of character. It is puuuurty! More to come from this session – that’s certain! I have to say that one of my favorite images is the very last one – it IS hard being a model…and very tiring!
