Custom photography photo sessions are a far departure from your average “go to the studio” type of situation where you get about 20 of the same poses/same environment/same lighting (blech, yawn). Yes, those types of sessions result in hundreds of photos – but they’re all so similar & variety is severely limited. Not only is a custom BSP photography session tailored around your creative vision, but it also results in unique & different images, settings & environments. Additionally, all of your photographs are hand crafted by me in my digital darkroom to achieve the ideal color balance, saturation and creative feel. From bright and cheerful to dreamy and ethereal, I take as much time as needed to custom treat each image with care. I truly believe that a photography session is more than just a way to “get photos on CD”…It’s a way to document your family’s story — to capture honest moments and emotions…and the love you have for one another. I believe that my images are like puzzle pieces that tell a story…and when put together, tell YOUR family’s story. Often, seeing your family through the eyes of a photographer brings to surface things you never noticed…..beautiful things…like the look in your eyes when you hold your baby, or the way your child smiles & crinkles up her little nose when you snuggle in real close to her.

BSP photo sessions are fresh and fun. Don’t expect any stiff poses or “say cheese” prompts. Instead, I set the scene and take a step back to let the beauty and magic of your family interactions emerge for me to capture on camera. I do a lot of one-on-one playing and interacting with children and babies which enables me to inspire genuine smiles and facial expressions. Photo sessions are relaxing and natural – never forced or stiff. While I prefer shooting in 100% natural light, I also bring my studio equipment just in case (read more about studio set-ups on my FAQ page). Session Investment

Blueberry Sky Photography offers images in medium and high resolution digital files on CD. In today’s digital age, it’s so valuable to have your treasured images on CD so you can print unlimited copies wherever and whenever you want – or upload them to online photo albums to share with loved ones. CD collections start at $675, but the average is about $1,000 to receive all images on CD in high-resolution format AND custom boutique creations like Coffee Table Books and Fine Art Prints. How does it work?

(1.) Creative Fee of $175 – This locks in your session date (covers artist’s time & talent only) and provides you with a 1-2 hour on-location session (2-3 hours for newborn sessions).
(2.) Photo Session – A photo session results in 30-50 unique and beautiful images that tell your family’s story – these images will be presented in an online gallery & will be on your CD in both color & black/white.
(3.) CD Package Selection – On the day of our session, select which CD Package you’d like (ranges from $500-$2,000).
(4.) View your photos! Share your online gallery with family & friends! CD will be mailed in 1-2 weeks.
