I’ve been receiving lots of emails from photographers asking about my little newborn and baby beanies…and wondering if I make them – I don’t. I once tried to make a scarf and it was pretty funny – but a disaster. One end of the scarf ended up way too narrow and it looked like one leg of a tapered pair of jeans from the 80′s – I have no crochet or knitting skills. at all.  It’s fun, but the outcome is never good. So, I get ALL of my stuff from Etsy. It’s an awesome place to buy all things handmade from amazingly talented artists. BUY HANDMADE!! It’s so much better than going to big, stale, boring stores-yuck! Plus, everything you get is one-of-a-kind!

Saweeeeeet! My coffee table album came yesterday all the way from Japan and I finally had a chance to photograph it! I’ve designed so many for clients, but never one for Blueberry Sky Photography — so I’m stoked that I finally have one! They’re just so pretty to look at :)  This is definitely the album that almost all of my clients order–it’s my most popular album….So I really should be posting client sneak peaks, but I just had to get these up-I promise sneak peaks will be coming soon–well, after my back to back sessions this weekend that is :P

BSP is working on a project and is in need of models (families with older kids/tots). Participating families will have their images featured on the BSP website and resulting images will be considered for several editorial projects. Sessions will take place at the Redondo Beach Pier in April. The focus will be on capturing candid, spontaneous interactions, so there will be very little posing – but rather a photojournalistic approach will be taken. Here are the details:

- Your family must include at least one child age 2 years or older
- Photo session will last up to 1 hour
- The session will be free;  you’ll receive 3 images of your choice on CD and one 8×10″ print
