A bit of both
….sure, it’s super cute when babies are giggling and laughing the entire time during photo sessions, but I also really love that serious look. Especially, especially with a baby as cute as this one. Quite pensive – taking in the world around him (and probably wondering who I am & why I’m dancing around in front of him). I know I say this often, but really, I just adore sessions between 7-9 months! Because babies are sitting up unassisted at this time, we can get totally creative! And yes, they may also be crawling (which means I’ll also be on the floor crawling right along with them), but the bruised knees are totally worth it…crawling pictures are super cute – and I’m not afraid to get down there on the floor and play! Now here are some sneak peaks for mommy and daddy of little Mr. You-should-be-a-Gerber-baby-model…how amazingly cute is he?
All I need
…is a beanie and a soft chair! And clothes? Who needs clothes? Especially when I’m this cute naked!
I had a blast at this photo session. Not only is this baby super duper sweet, but he’s way ahead of the game – he can sit-up on his own at 5 months! Sooo, we were able to get some amazingly cute photos of him sitting all by himself 
Amazing! He’s the youngest baby to date that I’ve photographed sitting up! Here are a few session faves…I can totally see why his mommy is so in love with him. He’s got big, curious brown eyes…and his little smile is so gentle and sweet. Definitely a joy to photograph!

The big ONE
Happy (early) birthday! I cannot believe it has been nearly one year since I first photographed this handsome boy as a newborn and of course at 7 mos! Now he’s a big boy – getting ready to turn ONE! I can’t say enough what a blessing it is that I’m able to do what I do. Being invited into the homes and hearts of amazing families to capture unforgettable memories is a true, true joy. Especially being a mother myself, I have a deep appreciation and understanding about how magical it is to have a child…the feelings of love and adoration…of unconditional love…and the amazement that comes with being a parent! It’s really impossible to describe the love you have for your child, until you become a parent yourself…It’s been an incredible journey documenting this sweet boy’s milestones over the past year – and what makes me even more giddy is that I get to photograph his sweet family even beyond his first birthday So here’s to the birthday boy! Have an awesome time partying it up!
I don’t blame her
….this sweet girlie just loved looking in the mirror And how could anyone blame her – just look at how deliciously chubby and adorable she is! Those rolls, those big eyes, those pouty lips…I always, always love sessions between 6-8 months. It’s always a win-win situation for me because babies are giggly, full of personality…and still have that baby chub (which tends to start shedding at 12 months) – which makes for a fun session AND amazing images! This one was no different. She rocked the photo session – loved the camera!
Your dose of sunshine
Mondays tend to be the toughest day of the week. Getting back into the swing of things from a relaxing and enjoyable weekend can be rough! So, to bring a smile to your face today, here’s a little something I thought was so cute and just plain funny! Little lady on the left is not pleased with the way the photo session is going…and her brother is looking at her like “Hey, I don’t know about you, but I’m into the camera, don’t rain on my parade – wassup with that?!” — I think it’s the cutest thing ever! Happy Monday everyone!
I think he’ll fit
…in my bag so I can take him home! Hello, Mr. Dimples – you are just a handsome little thing, aren’t you? Not only was he just the cutest, but was so absolutely happy and smiley! I loved it, he had me giggling the entire session! How cute cute cute is he?
Just stop it
Juuust stop it! Stop being so darn cute! One is plenty, but two babies with such adorable features. Geez! It’s true that photographing twins is twice the work, but it’s also twice the fun! Especially when you have a loving auntie to help out…These sweeties had the most amazing auntie – she was the best entertainer and smile-maker! They are definitely lucky babies And, although they’re BOTH just adorable as can be – their personalities couldn’t be any more different – which I loved! But I must say, they also BOTH had the most amazing eyes (with different special qualities). Max has big, bold, beautiful eyes that were a lovely mix of hazels and blues – such a great reflection of his outgoing personality. Mia has pretty, soulful brown eyes and long lashes — there was definitely something in her gaze that caught me…so sweet, gentle and delicate….see for yourself!
Warm & fuzzy
This session was just so sweet. Not only was Tyler super duper cute that morning, but the energy between him and his momma was sooo beautiful. The way mommy snuggled with her little man made my heart melt….I definitely felt warm and fuzzy inside while clicking away behind my camera. She’s got this gentle energy about her…the way she holds her baby, the way she talks to him so lovingly and gently…the glowing adoration in her eyes when she looks at him…It’s really the most beautiful thing. One of my favorite things to do during a photo session is to just sit back and watch mom & baby interact – mommies are naturally loving and nurturing, so it’s a wonderful thing to just let the magic happen on its own. Perhaps part of why I love doing this is because I can totally relate to the feeling – when I snuggle with my boy, it’s like the world is put on hold and I’m completely living in that moment So when I’m photographing other mommies, it’s like I can feel what they’re feeling, and it totally makes me choke up. Now, all I need to do is find a photographer to photograph us instead of me being behind the camera – teehee. As you can see, I love my job. Really. Getting to witness, capture and be surrounded by LOVE every day. It’s amazing!
Chubby is in
More chubs that will be sure to make you smile! The perfect, perfect way to start your morning! Lucky for his mama – she gets to wake up to see him every morning – Isn’t this little chubster just the cutest little thing? That sweet smile would make any mama’s heart melt
