Why? Why? Why are you so cute? As if he wasn’t cute enough as a newborn and at 3 months! He is just getting cuter by the minute — with more and more of his personality shining through…He’s got such a sweet and gentle way about him that just makes you want to give him snuggles and hugs all day! If you look closely, you can see little sweetie pie’s two teeny bottom teeth coming in :)
I think his hair will be standing straight up when I see him again in two months – just like my son’s when he was this age. I just love it! And, these beautiful words of inspiration that gently reminded me about the importance of living in the moment, appreciating our children & taking in their sweet babyness while they’re still little.

It’s slideshow time! I’ve always felt that the images from my sessions tell a story…and belong together. ..and I’ve been wanting to put shows together for clients but have been just busy as a bee with the holidays…but I finally got off my bum and did it (and also woke up at 4am this morning). So, for clients asking about adding slideshow/movie files to their CDs…here’s what it’ll look like…they can easily be uploaded to sites like YouTube so you can view them forever :) Also, kudos to Renee & Jeremy for their awesome musical genius) – make sure to turn up the volume for a treat for your ears. He’s already so handsome at 7 months…and I just know he’s going to be a heart breaker when he grows up!
I know this is true: Mom is the best at making baby boy giggle up a storm! This image was taken right when our model was feeling a little tired = cranky…but with a little help from mom, he was all smiles!
Hmmm…looks like he might be taking after mom with surfing…

Being at the center of attention is a hard job. I mean, looking so darn cute is a lot of work….Mr. Cutie needed a little snooze here….he knocked out like a champ.
Those toes kill me. So sweet. Ahhh, this was a wonderful session :) The last time I photographed this family, our model was only days old. Out of all the newborns and babies I’ve had the pleasure of photographing, he’s changed the most in 6 months. Check out his newborn session here – and you can see the huge difference 6 months makes….just imagine what it’ll be at 12 mos!!!

8 months makes a world of a difference! It blows my mind how quickly babies grow and change during their first year. Can’t we just keep them small forever????
…it’s my passion, it’s what I love – photographing life’s most beautiful moments, that is. I feel so lucky to do what I do – working with amazing families and nurturing life long friendships with them. It’s the best job in the world! The sessions below inspired me this morning. Here baby girl is at 7 months – and just below that is her as a newborn. Our babies grow up so, so fast…It’s neat to be able to see the difference 7 months makes.

Why is she so adorable? Clients see a lot of her because she’s in my sample albums that I bring with me to sessions. Pretty much everyone comments on how pretty her lips are :)
Sigh. Okay, that’s enough nostalgia for now. My sister-in-law just had a baby about 3 hours ago. I’m officially an Aunt! Yay! All this newborn thinking has started my clock ticking again :P My son is 19 months and needs a playmate!
Her cuteness makes me ache. When I photographed her as a newborn, I knew she was going to be adorable – but geez, she is just sooo darn cute! She has the perfect little cheeks…and such beautiful eyes. She’s definitely going to be a knockout when she grows up.

Yay! They both found me interesting enough to look at me at the same time!!!! In high school, I had a super short hair do and it was purple…maybe I should go for it again? I think kids would love to look at me with hair like that! Hmmmmm.

I wish my son’s nursery was this cute…

Hello, blue-eyed beauty! It’s no wonder why this image is one of mommy’s favorites (it’s one of my faves, too!)
After a few minutes of some baby serious-ness, our birthday girl decided to show us her sweet little smile – it was soo worth the wait :) I just can’t believe how much she’s grown since I last photographed her a few months ago – already walking before she even turned one! Isn’t she a doll???! Happy first birthday, Charlotte!
