…beautiful. This is just the perfect word to describe this adoring couple and their sweet baby. Few words can describe the amazing connection that mommy & daddy have. Just being around them makes me feel warm & fuzzy because they are clearly smitten with each other – it’s the cutest thing! And now with their new sweet baby girl, that love & emotion is even greater :) I sooo enjoy spending time with them – this little trio is very special, and I feel extremely lucky to have had a little glimpse into their journey to parenthood – and what amazing parents they are!

…that he was going to be a cutie (wink). I mean, just look at how gorgeous his big sister is! This sweet baby boy was as content as he looks in the photos. He slept and slept, which always makes for nice, cozy, precious newborn photos. It was so nice to photograph a super sleepy, super calm newborn. The last few I have photographed stayed wide awake for most of the session :) So thank you to Owen for making me one very happy photographer!

…I’m referring to baby girl and her big brother. They are both so, so adorable and the camera definitely loves both of them! What a sweet little girl Madison is. So precious and dainty. And her big brother – full of energy and extremely, extremely charming! And I have to give huge kudos to mommy for so gracefully managing two kids – one being a newborn! It is not easy, I can tell you that! And doesn’t she look beautiful? This might just be one of my favorite mommy/baby pictures yet :)

come in small packages. She’s dainty, sweet, petite, and oh so precious. At one month, she was so good to us and gave us some sleepy time so that we could photograph her warm cuddly newborn goodness. I also really enjoyed photographing her awake! She was so content and relaxed – just looking around and observing her new world. No cries or fussiness – what a sweet, lovely little girl! I’m very much looking forward to seeing her again in a few months – I know her cuteness will skyrocket!

Playing some catch up here and happy to be blogging again! I had a wonderful newborn session with this amazing family. And just like with their maternity session, sweet Ella charmed me once again with her spunky personality! The first shot below I sometimes call the impossible shot – mostly because asking a toddler/preschooler to lay on the floor with his/her sib often results in “nooo! I don’t want to, no!”- but not in this case! She was more than happy to lay down with her bro…and her bro was very happy to be near his big sister – I predict a sweet relationship to come :) I also loved, loved him awake – baby Jack has gorgeous eyes and I was happy to see them wide open for some photos – what a handsome little guy!

…worlds! A beautiful baby to photograph in a beautiful house with tons of huge windows! What a perfect addition to a lovely lovely family! Sweet, precious baby girl was a delight to photograph. After puzzling us all by staying awake for almost an hour (a record for her), she finally gave in to Mr. Sandman and slept soundly. Turns out, my favorite picture of her is the one above with her gorgeous eyes open anyway, so it’s nice that she was awake after all! Plus, while we waited for her to snooze, I got to take some pictures of her CUTIE PIE big brother – he is the most adorable little guy :)

…brown eyes just like her brother :) I couldn’t find his newborn pictures, but I did find his 11 month pictures. You can see that brother and sister both have amazing, beautiful, soulful brown eyes!

Please meet the newest Blueberry Sky Photography model…Miss Emi Reese, at 3 days old. I somehow managed to take these the day after we got home from the hospital. I was so super tired, but hubs kept telling me that I better photograph her now before she changes :) Just like her big brother, she is a smiley, sweet baby :) Her first name, Emi, is Japanese and means beautiful blessing. Her middle name, Reese, will give you a clue into mommy’s all time favorite sweet treat. This little girl is mommy’s buttercup indeed. I’m so in love with her…enjoying every fleeting moment.

She is such a miracle, a blessing. I just stare at her all day and soak in all of her newborn-ness, because I know how fast she will change and grow (sniff, sniff, sniiiifff). And as if that wouldn’t make me emotional enough, I look over and see my son – so big and independent, so loving and gentle with his sister…and my heart feels like it’s going to burst with overwhelming love. And my husband….what an amazing dad and husband he is. I am feeling so fortunate and grateful for all of my blessings…I’m enjoying some down time to really take everything in :)

With eyes wide open, curious, contemplative and pensive, this sweet 3 week newborn baby boy takes in his new world…Of course, mommy and daddy are taking him in – his sweet newborn loveliness and appreciating the wonder and beauty of their new baby. There’s nothing more magical than witnessing new parents ooh and aah at their newest creation – it’s amazing :)

…totally, totally hoping that my little girl will be as calm and relaxed as she is. What a little sweetheart! I’ve been photographing her growing family for almost 3 years now. Any my oh my – I can hardly believe how fast time has zoomed by! Her mommy and I got along right from the start. We both have rambunctious sons – neither of whom likes to stay still for more than 15 seconds…or eat food – so we’ve shared many stories :) And after some photo sessions and playdates later, we find out that we’re both having girls within a month of each other – how cool is that?! So when I finally got to meet her new little miss, I was beyond excited! And just as I predicted, she is just as cute and sweet as I knew she would be. She may look just like her big brother, but she definitely has her own personality going on (wink). Welcome sweet baby! So excited you are here!
