Amazing! Yes, these sweet girls are amazing. Amazingly adorable and lovely. It was clear to see that their personalities are pretty different – even at only 12 days old! One was very spunky and certain of what she wanted and didn’t want…and the other easy going and relaxed! But they were both suuper duuper cute. Gorgeous complexions and perfect little lips :) And a huge congrats to mommy & daddy for having three babies in under a year; and major WOW to mom for carrying her twin girls to full term – how rare and amazing is that?! Couldn’t be more true that this family is amazing in every way!

…in every way. She loved being in daddy’s arms – and when I saw them snuggling face to face, I was really in awe at how much they look alike! She looks just like daddy! Sometimes it’s hard to tell with newborns, but in this case it was clear as can be. Her big brother I think looks just like mommy though – with his big beautiful eyes :)

…they already have one beautiful girl, and now they have two! Double trouble – for daddy – in the future with these pretty girls! The very first shot is my favorite from the session. Totally spontaneous – big sister leaned over and gave baby girl the sweetest kiss, not because I asked–in fact, I was busy taking solos of the baby –but because she just wanted to! She hopped on the bed & just went over to give her a smooch :) I’d have to say she was one of the most cooperative and easy 2 year olds to date – I was reaallly impressed! I also thoroughly enjoyed seeing mom and dad as parents to two, as I was lucky enough to photograph them two years ago when baby #1 was born! It’s always so amazing to be a part of these moments as they start their journey as parents of two. What a beautiful family!

…gorgeous! Simply gorgeous! How beautiful is she?! Her skin so peachy pink and smooth, an adorable little mouth, and eyes so very blue – just lovely! It’s like she knew she wanted to stay awake almost the entire session just so I could continue photographing her pretty blue eyes :) I’m quite thankful that she did stay awake, because it really would have been a crime not to photograph her baby blues!

…that a year from now, mom & dad will be buying milk in barrels for their FOUR growing boys! But I’m sure they’ll save lots in other ways since the new babies can wear all of their big brothers’ hand me downs! Very convenient :) I really can’t tell you how much I’ve been anticipating their arrival – I’ve been so lucky to have had the opportunity to photograph their family quite a few times since 2009. After our very first session, I had an amazing time photographing their entire family (over 30 people!) and then mom’s sister’s wedding….and of course a few other family sessions in between. So with the many sessions we’ve had and lots of time to hang out, I was more than a wee bit excited when I read mom’s email that they were both healthy, out of the nicu and headed home….and that I would finally get to meet them! And boy, they did not disappoint at all! They were just as cute as I knew they would be – and better yet, they were super sleepy for our session which meant lots of cozy, precious, newborn goodness. I really couldn’t decide which ones to blog, so this one’s going to be long!

…CUTENESS! Oh, and it’s also for Cade and Carys – two of the most beautiful little ones I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. What an amazingly gorgeous brother-sister duo these two are! First there’s Cade. He was such a wonderfully sleepy little guy, and when he was awake, he was perfectly content & happy. He’s got the perfect little lips, a beautiful complexion and hair that made me a little jealous :) And big sister – well she was just a little firecracker – full of energy and such a pretty, pretty sweet face. And her eyes – wow, simply devine. I had a wonderful time with this lovely family – in their beautiful home, surrounded by lots of love and positive energy all around!

I try not to do too much work on backdrops, but sometimes it just turns out so…right. I’m not exactly sure what it is about these, but I just really love these images of mom and her babies :) And of course, seeing daddy with his new baby girl tugs at my heartstrings – daddy’s little girl…

…beautiful. This is just the perfect word to describe this adoring couple and their sweet baby. Few words can describe the amazing connection that mommy & daddy have. Just being around them makes me feel warm & fuzzy because they are clearly smitten with each other – it’s the cutest thing! And now with their new sweet baby girl, that love & emotion is even greater :) I sooo enjoy spending time with them – this little trio is very special, and I feel extremely lucky to have had a little glimpse into their journey to parenthood – and what amazing parents they are!

…that he was going to be a cutie (wink). I mean, just look at how gorgeous his big sister is! This sweet baby boy was as content as he looks in the photos. He slept and slept, which always makes for nice, cozy, precious newborn photos. It was so nice to photograph a super sleepy, super calm newborn. The last few I have photographed stayed wide awake for most of the session :) So thank you to Owen for making me one very happy photographer!

…I’m referring to baby girl and her big brother. They are both so, so adorable and the camera definitely loves both of them! What a sweet little girl Madison is. So precious and dainty. And her big brother – full of energy and extremely, extremely charming! And I have to give huge kudos to mommy for so gracefully managing two kids – one being a newborn! It is not easy, I can tell you that! And doesn’t she look beautiful? This might just be one of my favorite mommy/baby pictures yet :)
